To Knickbocker Beer Or Other Craft Beer

Okay... so back in 2008, I had plans to start my own home brew version of Knickerbocker Beer. I wrote a staggering two posts and quickly got completely sidetracked. Four years later, I'm back looking at this blog site again... with only two posts. Over the past four year I haven't made a drop of beer. I have however managed to get involved in the brewing business, in a round about way. As I write this, I'm trying for the first time Prairie Path Golden Ale made by Two Brothers Brewing Company in Warrenville, IL., and it's delicious. The only other from Two Brothers I've tried is Domaine Dupage, which is also quite enjoyable to the palate. As you probably know craft beer over the past few years has really taken off, with breweries popping up all over. Yet in Illinois, the breweries to population ratio puts Illinois in a trailing position compared to many other states. Exciting times may very well in store for beer lovers in Illinois and I'll be involved with the installation of many of these new up and coming breweries installing bright tanks, fermentation tanks, canning lines, fabricating mezzanines, running process lines, and providing HVAC services.

As for my own Knickerbocker brew I'm really no closer to selecting equipment, however I do like the Brew Magic V350MS ...options have changes a bit in the past few years.

While I ponder in my indecision I'll post my thoughts on craft beers and share some of my experiences with brewery installations.
